We use multiple sandboxes across a range of environments and whilst we would only use this feature occasionally. When added a new testing / production server into the mix being able to logically group items would be really helpful.
Even if the list was ordered alphabetically rather than the order they were added this would provide the same effect to us due to the naming convention that we use.
