Rolling Delete for Sandboxes

We are on the 5m message plan but run into failed tests when our sandbox inbox hits the 1k message limit. This means someone has to go in there to clear the box and rerun the tests, costing cycle time.

Rolling delete - once the inbox hits the 1k every new message deletes the oldest in the box.

Set message expiration is another option. Set on the inbox, after x period messages expire and are deleted.

Thanks y’all ✌️

    Hi there!
Thanks for sharing this feedback! Mailtrap Sandboxes already use a FIFO cleanup model: once the 1,000-email storage limit is reached, each new email automatically replaces the oldest one. Therefore, a full inbox should not cause new test emails to fail.

If you’re experiencing failed tests when the limit is reached, please contact our support team with the error details so we can investigate. I’ve also logged your suggestion for configurable message expiration as an additional cleanup option for future consideration.

Oh good to know, clearing it out fixed the issue so no worries. If it continues I will let support know.

      Thanks ✌️
