You can already create additional contact fields directly from the UI. This is available on the Contacts → Fields page (https://mailtrap.io/contacts/fields), where you’ll find a “Create field” button in the top right corner.
This allows you to add custom fields such as full name, pet name, or other variables and use them across your contacts.
